As a journalism doctoral student, my dream is to take up teaching upon graduation. Following more than a eight years journalism career in print journalism, I am now studying Ph.D. at the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication in the University of Oklahoma. I enrolled here after finishing my Master’s in Arts degree with a major in Journalism from the University of Mississippi. My primary goal is to become a journalism educator and facilitate the future media practitioners and mass communication enthusiasts with my diverse experiences in the field.
Teaching Experiences
As a journalist turned mass communication doctoral student I am now being trained to be an educator and a researcher. I am highly interested in teaching introductory level courses of journalism and mass communication, besides some other courses News Gathering and Writing, News Editing, TV Reporting, Multimedia Journalism, Global Media and Media Ethics which I feel interested in.
